Termites – Carpenter Ant: In the State of Texas wood-destroying insects listed on the “Texas Official Wood Destroying Insect Report” (often referred to at the WDI Report) include three types of Termites – Formosan, Drywood and Subterranean, Carpenter Ants, and a category Other for items such as Carpenter Bees and Powder Post Beatles.

In the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex the most common of these are:
