In the State of Texas wood destroying insects listed on the “Texas Official Wood Destroying Insect Report” (often referred to at the WDI Report) include three types of Termites Formosan, Drywood and Subterranean, Carpenter Ants, and a category Other for items such as Carpenter Bees and Powder Post Beatles.

In the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex the most common of these are:
